Leadership Transition at SVdP – President Election

A new election is underway for St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County’s District Council President. All Vincentians, SVdP trained volunteers, are invited to take part in the decision making process! There will be a “Meet the Candidate” forum taking place at the beginning of the next District Council Meeting on July 15 @ 9:30am-12:30am. To have any questions for the candidates asked at this forum, please send them to info@svdp-cc.org by July 14.

Please find applications and platform statements of our two candidates below:

Ron Weston, St. Joan of Arc

“The Essential elements of the society of St. Vincent de Paul are spirituality, friendship, and service” From Statute 1: The Rule. I believe in SVdP’s national program to be ‘subservient leaders.’ As a leader I would be of service to conferences and to the poor.”
