Last Friday, March 1, SVdP received a $10,000 donation from Wells Fargo. The donation is intended to support our Workforce Development Program.
The Workforce Development Program combines paid On-the-Job Training with life and job skills curriculum to help difficult to employ populations, such as those with a history of homelessness, incarceration, or addiction to find and keep work. “Several program participants have successfully found employment through Workforce Development,” Said Melanie Anguay, Executive Director, “We are very thankful for Wells Fargo’s generous donation and intend to help more people get back to work.”
Wells Fargo representatives Greg Young, Community Development Officer, and Ashoo Vaid, Vice President – Delta Highway, toured the Family Resource Center in Pittsburg and presented the $10,000 check to Jim Noe, Board President, and Melanie Anguay. Thank you so much, Wells Fargo, for your continued support!
