St. Vincent de Paul partners with Loaves & Fishes of Contra Costa County to provide a free, hot, nutritious meal every weekday at our Family Resource Center in Pittsburg.
Workforce Development Program
The Workforce Development Program at St. Vincent de Paul provides training and work experience for those who are new to or have been out of the workforce. The goal of our program is to help participants with barriers to employment find long-term, satisfactory work at a decent wage upon the conclusion of the 24-week SVdP WFD Program.
RotaCare Pittsburg Free Medical Clinic
St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County works in partnership with RotaCare Bay Area, Inc. to provide quality medical care to uninsured adults with acute or chronic medical conditions.
DOW Free Dental Clinic
St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County works in partnership with in partnership with Dentists on Wheels to provide dental care to uninsured adults with severe dental issues.
John Muir Mobile Health Clinic
St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County works in partnership with the John Muir Health Family Medicine Residency Program to off free medical care to uninsured individuals and families. The mobile clinic is at SVdP on the first Wednesday of each month from 9am to noon.
St. Vincent de Paul partners with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano to provide one-time emergency food to individuals and families in need Monday through Friday.
Oasis Daytime Shelter
Recognizing a growing need for respite during the day, St. Vincent de Paul, in partnership with Winter Nights, provides a daytime shelter for homeless families seeking refuge from the streets.
St. Vincent de Paul partners with the Bay Church and Loaves and Fishes to provide on Saturday a shower trailer. It is there from 10am to 1pm and not only do people get a hot shower, but they get a free set of clothes from the thrift store and a hot lunch from the free dining room.
