Pittsburg, CA – St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County announces today that effective December 15, Melanie Anguay Executive Director, after 6 years at the helm of the organization, has left the organization to accept a new position that will help advance her career. In her statement, Melanie explained, “I have truly enjoyed supporting St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County’s mission to serve the poor, and appreciated working with the dedicated staff and volunteers of the organization.” We appreciate her years of dedication to St. Vincent de Paul, (SVdP). Under Melanie’s leadership, SVdP has gained financial strength, grown the number of SVdP branches and volunteers, made infrastructure repairs and grown programs to serve the struggling residents of Contra Costa County. We wish her well with her new opportunity.
Claudia Ramirez will be the interim Executive Director of St. Vincent de Paul, effective 12/18/17. A SVdP volunteer, (Vincentian), for 7 years, Ms. Ramirez is currently the volunteer Vice President of St. Vincent de Paul’s branch at St. John Vianney, Walnut Creek. She brings years of experience and leadership in business that will be a benefit to SVdP and the community that we serve.
