The RotaCare Pittsburg Free Medical Clinic at St. Vincent de Paul holds cooking classes to teach individuals and families living in poverty with chronic medical conditions how to cook healthy and nutritious meals!

In previous years, we’ve had moderate attendance at about 6-10 adults with children. It has tripled over the past year, and our current class has 23 graduates -quite the amazing turnout!

Because of such high demand, we need YOUR help! The program does not require much of a time commitment; the classes are held on 6 consecutive Wednesday nights, with a new session starting every other month.

We need volunteers who can help set-up, sign-in participants, assist with cooking demos and the kids’ activity corner, and clean-up.
